  19. Boulder, CO -- July 15, 1991 -- Compatible Systems today announced the
  20. availability of software drivers for its Ethernet adapter products which
  21. provide full compatibility with System 7.0 for Apple's line of Macintosh
  22. computers.

  24. "Our beta tests on the new drivers went very smoothly," said Larry Tepper,
  25. Director of Software Engineering at Compatible.  "In fact, we had less trouble
  26. with System 7 than we did with several of the later versions of System 6."

  28. The company manufactures a full line of Ethernet adapters for the Macintosh,
  29. including Ether2, a NuBus internal adapter for the Macintosh II family,
  30. Ether•DS, a Direct Slot internal adapter for the Macintosh SE/30 and IIsi, and
  31. Ether+, an external SCSI adapter which is compatible with all SCSI-equipped
  32. Macintoshes.
